Honest, caring, kind, considerate, dependable, approachable, and humorous and an excellent listener. You’ll find me to be communicative and full of humility. Like most people, I like the usual things in life: the cinema, music, theatre, travelling/holidays, staying in and going out, wining and dining in and, occasionally, out, etc. etc. I am as happy cuddling or snuggling up on the sofa in front of the TV as I am in other forms of social activity.
I like to keep romance alive in a relationship, to care for, adore and be loyal and faithful to the lady in my life, to be there for her rain or shine, enjoying things together yet trusting and allowing her the freedom she needs. I am not afraid to show my affection privately or publicly.
I am open and broad minded and I can hold conversations or discussions on a variety of issues. I am certainly happy to learn and to compromise and I can be diplomatic, showing tact and sensitivity where necessary.
My culinary skills have well developed over the years as a result of performing the parental role as a single parent and - at the risk of blowing my own trumpet - having brought up my children single handed for more than a dozen years. I also enjoy driving very much, so please do not allow distance or the fact that you may be resident in another country to be an impediment to getting together.
I am adaptable and on account of this I personally do not think it's absolutely essential for you to have precisely similar interests to mine. If we have similar or overlapping interests, great; however, I am happy to acquire and/or share in [some, if not all of] yours. I think this makes it all the more exciting and fulfilling, somewhat 'broadening our horizons'.
And please note I'll not shy away from someone of different colour or race, culture or creed from mine. But you must be a non-smoker or definitely on the verge of quitting.
