Update 2-2-2008: Due to health reason I'm electing to have the gastric bypass surgery in March 2008. Keep ya updated!!!

Update 4-1-08: Through the grace of God and your many prayers and well wishes I'm happy to state I am doing ok. I was admitted on 3-28-08 and I was released from the hospital on 3-29-08. Each day I'm getting stronger. I will have before and afters photos posted elsewhere online in the near future. Please contact me to find out where.

Update 4-8-08 My follow up visit to the surgeon bought me some great news I lost 70lbs. The blood pressure level are coming down and the blood sugar level are normal. Possibly no more pills!! We'll see tomorrow when I visit my primary physician...fingers crossed.

4-9-08 My first visit to my medical doctor after the surgery. He very happy with the results and announced that I can stop taking the diabetic pills immediately!!! I'm so excited!!!

Update 4-14-08 I'm back to work now on light duty status but happy to be busy...also I started working my second job driving tour buses last weekend. I'm on the stage 4 diet...yuck!!!... which consist of pureed food. A necessary evil!!! Lol!!!

Update 4-23-08 I'm on full duty status @ work!!! Good!!! I've move to stage 5 on my diet...goodbye puree!!! Thank God!!! I'm doing well!! I've lost 12 more lbs!!!

Update 5-28-08 I've lost 15 more lbs!!! I've lost close to 100 lbs and I'm feeling great!!! Regular food for me... it's about time!!!

Update 7-9-08: I'm 114 lbs lighter now a 14 lbs weight loss since the last update. I'm now under the 290 lbs. my goal is between 200 to 210 lbs 80 more and I reach my goal!! My check up was good with the doctor.

Update 10-9-08 I lost 12lbs more...I'm not satified with the results but it is what it is...my check up was fine. I'm focusing my attention on a H.I.I.T (high itensity interval training) regiment.


I'm a nonsmoking, large, overweight, divorced, and very conservative minded (politically and socially) black male 5'7" tall who (does not suffer from from short man's complex) is employed in the law enforcement field and a part time DJ on the weekends. I have a great sense of humor. I love long walks on the bea... YEAH WHATEVER!!! PICTURE THAT!!! I enjoy shooting, sports, movies, plays, dining in or out, reading, music, and concerts just to name a few. I'm an avid fisher and boater. Go Cowboys, Yankees and Heat!!! One more little thing... please have a photo...that's right a picture accessible if I'm putting myself out there it's only fair that you do the same. I'm sick of the lame excuses about why you don't have a photo...such as my scanner broke... I don't take pictures well..etc etc. You describe yourself one way when I see you...you look different. What's up with that???!!! Give me a break!!! Hello!!! Who I am to say no fat people allowed. (I saw that insensitive remark on a profile I read.)

I'm seeking a single or divorced, MATURE, NONsmoking (I REPEAT!!! NONSMOKING NOT SMOKE SOCIALLY OR SMOKE DAILY), drug and disease free, female for a friend. So let's be realistic I am definitely not looking for a Halle Berry or an Ally McBeal type... I'm thinking along the lines of Queen Latifah, and Monique(Big girls give a holla' if you there). I think there's nothing more attractive than a large woman who carries herself well. Not to count you out you neat and petiters..you look good too. :) There... are you happy now??
