I am a guy with a non conventional sense of humour, which can generally only be appreciated by those who don't get offended easy and by those who enjoy digging a little deeper than most. Though I am conservative in my thinking I am very open minded and think critically. I am not cut from the cookie dough of humanity and therefore probably do not fit into the traditional "guy" mold that most women have come to accept as the dating norm. I am a guy who is simply looking to enjoy the company of a woman I can respect and who can carry on a good conversation. I have grown weary of superficial dating and am searching instead for a woman of quality who's company I can enjoy, and who in turn can enjoy mine.

I like to discuss current issues, and debate points of interest with others over a coffee or a cold beer in a nice relaxing pub. My hobbies include martial arts, target shooting, traveling, and a bit of writing here and there. My goals and aspirations? To be the first man on Mars of course. Such a question I would prefer to answer when I get to know a person. I dress for the occasion and do not wear sandals or flip flops in public unless I am going to the beach, or using a communal shower I do not wear ball caps or a sports jersey because I do not play base ball and I am not a player on any NHL, NBA, or NFL team. However
Ultimately I am looking for a long term relationship but am going to enjoy the journey along the way. I want to meet a woman who is confident and has a good sense of humour. A woman who can carry on a conversation, who is emotionally generous, and knows what she wants. I want a woman who is comfortable in being treated nicely, rather than critical and offended by chivalry.
