Let's see. As I said, I am one of those intellectual brothers. My favorite passion is reading because it opens me up to new ideas. I like all things cultural including live concerts and poetry slams. I like to eat. I prefer Caribbean and Soul Food but I like Greek and Italian as well. I like all good music. My favorites are mainstream jazz, traditional Black gospel, and Salsa.

A whole day spent trying to get to know her. I would meet at a bookstore with a good coffee shop for a meet and greet. I would find a good public nature trail or park to walk through and talk. I would find a good independent movie theater, a live outdoor concert, or even a decent play to attend. Finally, I would like to go to an ethnic restaurant where I can eat something unique while getting more comfortable getting to know her.

I am not the most adventurous type anymore. I am no longer in a my twenties so no more high ropes courses and white water rafting to me. Actually what I have always wanted to try wil probably sound corny. I have always wanted to write a book of critically received essays on politics, social issues, and religion. Beyond that I would like to get paid to lecture on those types of issues.

I guess my most lofty goal is to earn a PhD either in Philosophy, Religion, or Theology. I want to become a professor in one of those fields at a liberal arts college. Research institutions are too demanding and I would like to enjoy some of my life. I want to do all of things that most intellectuals do such as teach, do research, lecture, and write. I will never be rich but I hope to be comfortable.

If what you mean is in a woman then its simple. I look for basically the same types of qualities in a romantic encounter as I would in any other type of friendship: intelligence, honesty, and compassion. If someone has these then the other things about them can be adjusted to.
