Here are the things I want you to know about me:
I seek knowledge. Most of the time you'll find me with my head in a book, researching something on the internet, admiring something beautiful in an art gallery or asking someone a million and one questions about themselves or something they do.

That's just who I am. I'm inquisitive.

I am also really focused. Once I get an idea of something I want to do in my head, I get tunnel vision and try to figure out how to achieve iMost of the time that's good, other times I can't see the forest for the trees.

I am situationally funny. My humor is of the moment... it's "you have to had been there" funny. But if you are there when it happens, it's HILARIOUS.

I'm a people person. I make people feel comfortable being themselves and welcome in my home. I can make the most stubborn of people let down their guard given the time and opportunity to do so. I can find common ground with anyone and talk to everyone.

My favorite people are my family and my friends. I have two nephews that I love to spoil to death. I love to take them to NBA games and college football games even though they are only 2 and 3 and not quite old enough to understand the sport. All they know is they are allowed to scream because everyone else is.

Speaking of sports, I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE SPORTS (even though I am incredibly uncoordinated). My favorite sport is basketball and football is a close second. I don't really watch any other sports on TV, but I LOVE going to any game... baseball, hockey, soccer, whatever... I’ll even go to a NASCAR race. I love the exciting environment of sports events and yelling so loud that I'm hoarse when I leave.

I also love concerts. Especially if I know the artist and can sing along loudly and badly.

My goal is to visit a new country every year starting this year. I have a passport with one stamp (London) and look forward to getting more.

I have a slight obsession with Ancient Roman history (mainly because it is the most powerful empire ever to exist) and I like to read books about the emperors and generals of Rome.

A perfect Saturday for me would be:

Going on a morning run then ruining the entire point of the run by cooking a huge country breakfast.

Cleaning the house, showering and getting dressed while listening to J. Cole and Wale on my iPod dock.

Going to an early afternoon college or pro basketball or football game.

Grabbing dinner and a movie.

Going out for drinks and dancing later at some place with live music or a really, really great DJ.

Unwinding from the evening in a big bubble bath while drinking pinot noir and listening to Al Green.

I look for a man who can keep up with me. I'll admit, I'm not an easy woman to keep. You have to be able to keep up with me conversationally and teach me a thing or two. I like to be intellectually challenged and to be quite honest, these days most men are not that educated and intellectual.

I'm looking for the male version of me basically (LOL).

I look for men who are well read. Who are focused and driven and not lazy. I look for men who are tall (I'm 6'1"), physically fit (can we run together?) and are career-focused (I am and you should be too).

I like aggressive men who are also sensitive and romantic. Someone who can be direct about his wants and needs but pays attention to mine.
